I just read this book this weekend and it was quite the read. Even though it was hard to get through I don’t think I’ve ever read anything quite as emotionally powerful and moving. Through all of her tragedies, hardships, and truly horrific experiences, Tree Girl still managed to keep going and remain strong, and because of that she made a difference by lifting others up and giving them hope when all seemed lost. I feel amazed and truly empowered by her story.
